4k-Kilometer 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth Miki Biasion Edition Sells for $52k
Rare Collector's Item Auctioned on BaT Auctions
Original Condition with Low Mileage
A pristine 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth Miki Biasion Edition with just 4,000 kilometers (2,485 miles) on the odometer has recently been auctioned on BaT Auctions for $52,000.
The Miki Biasion Edition was a limited-edition model of the RS Cosworth produced to celebrate driver Miki Biasion's victory in the 1988 World Rally Championship. Only 4,060 units were made, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.
This particular example is finished in Diamond White and features a distinctive red and blue livery. It is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 227 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
The interior of the car is in excellent condition, with black Recaro seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. The car also comes with a number of desirable options, including air conditioning, a sunroof, and a premium audio system.
