Musician Who Co-Founded Australian Rock Legends in 1973 With Brother Angus

Malcolm Young, the co-founder and rhythm guitarist of the Australian rock band AC/DC, has died at the age of 64. Young, who had been suffering from dementia for several years, passed away on November 18, 2017, in Sydney, Australia.

Young was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on January 6, 1953, and moved to Australia with his family as a child. He co-founded AC/DC with his younger brother, Angus, in 1973, and the band quickly became one of the most successful hard rock bands in history.
